2012 Filthy Fun Run

This year the Pasco Pediatric Foundation is continuing its annual adventure race in Pasco County to help raise funds for the PPF organization. The Filthy Fun Run is a unique 5k run designed for both athletes and non-athletes. It is scheduled for November 17, 2012 and will be held at the Concourse on SR52 near the Suncoast Parkway in Spring Hill. The concept is that is is a “fun run” with obstacles, different types of terrain, and a lot of mud … so everyone gets filthy! See the video from last years race.

Holiday Giving Event 2011

This year, Pasco Pediatric Foundation will once again be hosting a Holiday Giving Event! The Holiday Giving Event is an annual holiday party where the Pasco Pediatric Foundation Board members (using “letters to Santa” that we have received) shop for gifts and clothing for approximately 70 children. On Sunday, December 18th, Pasco Pediatric Foundation will hold a fabulous party where the children and their families come to talk with Santa, open presents, decorate cookies, color and have a delicious dinner together. The excitement on the faces of both children and adults is contagious, pulling everyone headlong into the festivities. In addition to the party, Pasco Pediatric Foundation also provides each family with a Honey Baked Ham voucher so they can pick up a dinner to enjoy with their family on Christmas day. It is an incredible and emotional day! If you would like to contribute to the success of the Holiday Party please contact the office and we will be happy to assist with your donation to event.

Holiday Giving Event 2010

Since 2001, The Pasco Pediatric Foundation has annually provided a wonderful holiday party and gifts for children throughout our county who are in need. The families are identified through the Pasco County School System and the children receive much needed items such as clothing, shoes and toys from their own personal wish lists. The Pasco Pediatric Foundation “elves” shop, wrap and organize gifts for more than 70 children each year.

This year, the families will join us on December 18 for fun, food and most importantly, a special visit from Santa Claus! The afternoon will be filled with smiles from ear to ear on children who would not otherwise celebrate this holiday season.

With more requests than ever, it is the Pasco Pediatric Foundation’s desire to increase the number of children we assist. With your participation in our event, we have the ability to make the holidays brighter for the less fortunate children in Pasco County.

Our mission is to raise and distribute funds to children and young adults who need assistance with medical, emotional, physical, and educational needs not otherwise met by existing federal, state, and local services in Pasco County.

The Pasco Pediatric Foundation fulfills its mission by partnering with Pasco County’s school nurses, educators, health department, local hospitals, pediatricians and many other concerned professionals serving our children.

With referrals from these professionals and the community, we are able to provide assistance through the following programs:

Meeting special needs of chilren.
College scholarship aid.
Playgrounds for children.
Free prescription / radiology vouchers
