Who We Are

For The Cause

The following message from a thankful parent is one of the many reasons why we do what we do!

To Whom It May Concern:
It is with a warm heart as I express our family's gratitude for your generosity. The gas cards that you provided for our family, definitely helped soften the blow of our devastating news of our son Shane's recurrent Lymphoma. Many trips are made to Tampa General Hospital and not worrying about filling up our gas tank eased our transition into our "new" normal lifestyle.

We drove our super hero two hours for him to attend Camp Boggy Creek for a week. He is a true inspiration, at his young age of 12, who is taking his newest journey with more courage than any other soul on this planet. It is his strength and spirit that moves our family.

Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your gifts and best wishes.
David, Cheryl, Ryan, and Shane Salyer

What Do We Do?

The Pasco Pediatric Foundation, Inc., is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit tax-exempt charitable organization founded in 1995. Our mission is to raise and distribute funds to children and young adults who need assistance with medical, emotional, physical, and educational needs not otherwise met by existing federal, state, and local services and organizations in Pasco County.

The Pasco Pediatric Foundation fulfills its mission by partnering with Pasco County's school nurses, educators, health department, local hospitals, pediatricians and many other concerned professionals serving our children.

With referrals from these professionals and the community, we are able to provide assistance through the following programs:

  • Meeting special requests/needs of children (i.e. wheelchair lift, dental services, mental health services, and therapy.
  • College scholarship aid for high school seniors.
  • Free prescription vouchers for children in need of medication.
  • Annual Holiday Giving Party
